Carolyn Zhao is a speculative fiction writer, magazine editor, medical student, and chronic workaholic based out of NYC and Chicago.

Carolyn’s fiction has been published in Clarkesworld, and her research has been published in Nature, Protein&Cell, Genome Biology, and Cancer Metastasis.

When she is not writing, Carolyn co-edits for WYRMHOLE, a terminally-online magazine for science fiction and fantasy.

She also sometimes attends medical school.
